How to change output of TCN5 Digital PID Temperature Controller from Relay to SSR?

The Kane brand TCN5 series digital PID temperature controller is currently our best-selling temperature controller, and is very popular with customers due to its attractive design and rich features. Customers commonly choose RELAY and SSR outputs, but during use, customers often encounter a problem: the RELAY output can be connected directly, but the SSR output cannot.

So how can you use the SSR output? This requires modifying the temperature controller parameters.

The specific steps are as follows:

1. Press and hold the SET button until P-1 is displayed, then press the UP key to change it to P-2;

2. Press SET key, until the upper display shows OUT, then press the UP key to change it to SSR;

3. PressSET key to save, then press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds to exit.

After completing these steps, you can use the SSR output.
